Terms and Conditions at Hingston Down Farm

CONDITIONS OF HIRE. (Please read carefully)

  1. Booking deposit of £50.00 per caravan per week (non-refundable) is required, with a fully completed booking form.

  2. Your accommodation must be paid for in full  (inc damage/loss fee) 21 days before the arrival date.

  3. Failure to take up occupancy once a booking has been made and confirmed does not relieve the hirer from his/her liability for the full balance, unless prior cancellation has been made, confirmed and received in writing by the Management at least 7 days in advance of arrival date and that the Management has been successful in re-letting the property for the period in question.

  4. Unless you notify us of late arrival, your accommodation will be held to 10.00 pm on arrival date (providing full payment has been received), at which time your accommodation may be re-let.

  5. If full payment has not been received at least 10 days before the commencement of your holiday, we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation.

  6. Bookings are strictly for the person named on the booking form, any change must be notified to the Management who reserve the right to cancel the booking.

  7.  The Management is relieved from responsibility, should the accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond their control, in which all monies paid over for accommodation will be refunded in full.

  8. The Management reserves the right to enter the accommodation.

  9. The Management reserves the right to terminate any booking before or during the holiday, at its discretion.

  10. Anyone using Hingston Down Farm and its facilities do so entirely at their own risk and we will not accept liability for the loss of, or damage to any property.

  11. In the event of leaving early, no refunds will be made.

  12. Bookings are from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival to 10.00 am on the date of departure.

  13. The latest arrival time for your accommodation is 9.00 pm unless by prior arrangement.

  14. All visitors must report to the Bungalow on arrival and the number of persons should not exceed the sleeping capacity of the caravan or the number shown on the Booking Form. Any alterations must be by prior notification and agreed by the Management.

  15. Please note we are unable to accept bookings from under 18’s.

  16. The Management reserves the right to decline acceptance or expel any visitor for conduct detrimental to the site or the comfort of other visitors.

  17. A returnable fee of £60.00 will be required as “Sign of Good Faith” that the premises will be left in the same good condition (inc no losses or damage), as it was when you took up the occupancy. This amount will be forwarded to you, after you leave if this condition has been met.

  18. Site rules must be adhered to at all times to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.

SITE RULES

We feel sure that you appreciate the need for a set of rules to ensure, as far as possible, everyone is kept safe and can enjoy their holiday to its fullest, and look forward to your help in achieving this.

  1. Please leave the accommodation as you found it. If your are unfortunate enough to break/damage the facilities, please report as soon as possible to the Management
  2. NO smoking in the caravans or in the vicinity of the barn/stable area. Sand receptacles are provided for the disposal of cigarette/cigar and tobacco waste. DO NOT litter the grounds.
  3. Dogs are welcome. They must be under close control at all times, all dogs MUST be on leads with responsible adult attached when moving from carpark to caravans and back and on the walkways. Fouling must be cleared immediately. Wet and/or dirty dogs are not allowed in caravans. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms at any time, or to be left in caravans unattended. On site exercising of dogs is at the discretion of the Management. Daily permission will be required due to livestock movements.
  4. To avoid upsetting your neighbours, please keep the volume of tv/radios and music players to a moderate level.
  5. Waste bins are provided, but ask for your assistance with recycling of waste. You will find bins suitably marked
  6. Access to the stable yard is not allowed unless tending to your own animals.
  7. Access to the fields is available but gates must be kept closed and no access to fields containing livestock on the grounds of safety
  8. Cars and vehicles are to be parked only in designated areas
  9. Barbecue unit is available on request, do not use in close proximity of caravans or gas bottles.
